Locking Lever Kit

Application :  Use with any VC3000 or VC4000.

Kit consists of the plastic parts and washers that hold the brackets to the sides of the unit, 2 pins, 2 levers, 2 thick washers

VC3000/VC4000 Locking Lever Assembly

1. Remove brackets from unit by rotating the locking levers back, then slide the levers forward to remove them from the cinch pins, and then remove brackets and washers.

2. Take the four screws out of the bottom of the enclosure and lift top half just far enough to get the cinch pins out.

3. Remove cinch pins and rubber washers.  NOTE: If your VC3000 has thin inner and outer rubber washers you must remove the inner washer and replace the outer rubber washer with one thick rubber washer.
   

4. Install new cinch pins (no rubber washer on the inside) and replace top half and four screws.

5. Put the thick rubber washer over the cinch pin.

6. Attach bracket with the suction cups angled to the outside as shown in the figure below.

7. Place the flange washer with the shoulder facing inward toward the bracket and center the bracket on the shoulder of the washer.

8. With the unit facing you, snap the locking lever over the pin with the lever facing back.  Then rotate the lever forward to lock.
