The all new Profile 5 has been rewritten with modern features only found in expensive office Programs. It is a complete rewrite of the software using C# and .NET programming, with advanced features for reporting and graphing. It introduces the Toolbar and Ribbon bar. This type of toolbar was first introduced by Microsoft in Office 2007, where it has radically improved the usability of all Office programs. Instead of searching for functions in menus they are all available directly.
Profile 5 is designed specifically for the VC4000PC, VC4000DAQ and RFM4000's. Profile 5 automatically
recognizes which model
is connected and changes some dialog boxes and tabs accordingly.
Use
Profile 5 to display reports, graphs and tables for Runway friction reporting.
When Profile 5 is running on your network connected computer and in 'Listen for Export' mode, it only takes a button push on the RFM4000 models to send the Runway Friction Report to your network or internet site so everyone has access to the runway conditions immediately.

Using a RFM4000(X) and Profile 5 you can:
- Send a Friction Report wirelessly to a network computer or web server using only RFM4000(X) keypad
- Organize and analyze data
- Create Runway Friction reports
- Save data to disk
- Graph any combination of X and 8 Y axes
- Map the GPS coordinates of the test using internet mapping tools
- Make presentation quality Prints
- Retrieve data from disk
- Export data and reports to other applications
- Move a vertical line cursor along a graph to read instantaneous coordinates
- Graph any segment of a curve
- Compare data
- Display the results of many runs in one window
- Save and reopen a table of runs
